Welcome to the Department of Internal Medicine, which encompasses a wide range of important specialties. As one of the largest departments within the college, we are committed to providing advanced and distinguished education, as well as offering cutting-edge clinical services where student training is given the utmost priority, following modern and innovative scientific methods.
The department is staffed by a distinguished group of resident professors across various specialties, and we also engage visiting professors to teach specialties not available within the department.
Description
The Department of Internal Medicine and its branches were established in the academic year 2020-2021, staffed by resident faculty members of the college and professionals working in hospitals in the Zintan region and its neighboring areas. The department has been led by a distinguished group of esteemed professors and has been recognized as one of the outstanding departments by visiting professors from peer faculties in Libyan universities. The department, through the efforts of its professors and teaching assistants, strives for excellence and aims to achieve institutional accreditation, followed by program accreditation.
